In this video I share my experience and why I ultimately ended up purchasing a KTM 250 XC-W TPI instead of the KTM 300 XC-W TPI. • The 300 has a higher displacement and provides more low end power and torque, while the 250 is a faster revving engine. 300s do a great job at a low RPM and will likely stall less - perfect for riders who are lazy and don't like shifting :) • ____________________________________________________________________________________ • Why I chose the 250: • Short answer: it was available. • Longer answer: I personally prefer the more lively engine for my style of riding. The 250 can be opened up with more control, especially as a less experienced rider. It still lugs incredibly well and can honestly do anything the 300 can. • You can't go wrong with either choice! The progression of modern 2 strokes has come a long way over the past several years. • One final note I forgot to mention in my video.
