Watch my updated video with the identity of the bushy-haired stranger here: • • Diane Downs' Daughter Christie Speaks... • The following news release was submitted exclusively to The Jerusalem Post ([email protected]) on September 4th, 2020. • Diane Downs (born August 7, 1955) is an American woman who was convicted of the murder of her daughter and the attempted murder of her other two children with a .22 caliber pistol in May of 1983 along the remote Old Mohawk Road a couple of miles north of Springfield, Lane County, Oregon. Following the crimes, she told police that a bushy-haired stranger had flagged her down, attempted to carjack her, shot the children, and herself, and then she drove directly to the hospital in Springfield. She was convicted in 1984 and sentenced to life in prison plus 50 years. • Before the shootings, Diane waltzed right into a big 'Free Souls' motorcycle gang drug deal and saw who the gang members were, so they ganged up on her. Pat Horton was the attorney for the gang and he was also the District Attorney in her murder case. No mention of the gang was ever mentioned in any court proceedings. • The 'Free Souls' is a Scottish Rite Freemasonic motorcycle gang that was established in Eugene, Oregon (near Eugene) in 1968. They abide by the ancient Egyptian religion as signified by the Egyptian Ankh on their emblem. Most attorneys in Oregon are Freemasons. The FBI lists the 'Free Souls' as an outlaw motorcycle gang. They wear the 1% patch which means that they are the 1% of motorcycle gangs who operate outside of the law. At the time, they were the biggest drug dealers in the Eugene/Springfield area. • The gunman who they chose was Springfield native Mark Koch, who was a big-time meth cook (manufacturer) closely associated with the 'Free Souls' gang, and maybe a 'Free Souls' member, himself. • Pat Horton and the Free Souls were so afraid that they would get caught that they coerced world-famous crime author Ann Rule to write a book that told their story. That book later turned into a major Hollywood movie called 'Small Sacrifices' starring world-famous actress Farrah Fawcett-Majors. • Later, as new information came to light and the risk of getting caught increased, the 'Free Souls' selected a scapegoat to throw the scent off of the evidence trail. He was 'Free Souls' member James Clair Haynes, and he started telling people that he was the gunman (the so-called 'bushy-haired stranger'). He was protected by the 'Free Souls' until the day that he died. • In about 2011, Mark Koch confessed to me that he was the 'bushy-haired' stranger. He is my ex-wife's cousin. Her name is Lisa Lyn Nastasha Moore.
