New Water Slide at Säntispark in Switzerland Gewittersturm POV

This is the new Gewittersturm water slide at Säntispark Bäderwelt in Abtwil SG, Switzerland. The multi-sensory water slide has a diameter of 2 m or 79 , allowing for the use of round rafts. Those require three guests per tube – double riders have to use a classic inner tube. As of December 2024, the slide has not been approved for single tubes yet, resulting in no single riders being allowed on the ride at this time. The slide is fitted with three buttons, allowing guests to choose a theme before starting their ride. The chosen theme is supposed to trigger certain light and sound effects throughout the ride. Unfortunately, those were still out of function on opening day when this video was recorded.
