A young girl was rescued this week from inside a well by the Syrian Civil Defence AKA the White Helmets in Aleppo, Syria, after falling down it while playing near her home. • Video said to be in Al Bab City shows Assaf al Assaf, a member of the Syrian Civil Defence, Aleppo branch, being lowered inside the well and footage from his onboard camera showing the dramatic rescue in action. • Four-year-old Sumaiah cried out for her mother, as al Assaf tries to calm her and asks to see if her hand is hurt, before the pair are brought up to safety.
