Consonants are used as half. Some consonants are used with Halanth at the bottom and some letters are written by removing the standing line. Half letters take less time to pronounce. Letters with standing line (Khadipaayi - खडीपाई) • ख ग घ च ज झ ञ ण त थ ध न प ब भ म य ल व श ष स क्ष त्र ज्ञ श्र all these letters will be written half by removing the standing line or khadipaayi. • Letters without standing line or sheershpaayi • ङ छ ट ठ ड ढ द ड़ ढ़ ह these letters will be written directly and fully with the Halanth at the bottom. • Consonants with standing line in the centre • क फ • र is an exception.
