There are four contestants in this bicycle race - two from each team. Race consists of four laps of the track. • • M/S of four young men getting ready for the race. Two are wearing red tops and the other two white. M/S of the beginning of the race. Camera pans following the men cycling in circles. Supporters are standing around the track, watching the race. • • Succession of panning shots of the race are intercut with C/U shots of the faces of supporters and shots of the falls and other details of the race. One of the tricks of the game is to ride an opponent into the side so that he cannot take the bend without falling.
