How To Play Piano for Beginners Lesson 5 Learning a Piece

Lesson five in my series of tutorials on how to play piano for beginners. In this lesson we learn a practice piece that uses left and right hands together, with the right hand playing a melody in the treble clef while the left plays a simple bass line. The piece is written out in full piano score in the accompanying PDF (link below) to help you practice your music reading. • As a bonus, there's another easy piano piece in the lesson PDF that you can learn for homework. Both pieces also include some dynamic markings and Italian terms —getting to grips with these is a really important part of learning piano, so don't skip over them. And remember to keep practising your scales — look back at the previous piano lesson in the series if you need a reminder of them! Also be sure to focus carefully on the finger markings in each piece of music. Being able to manage your fingers well in both right and left hands is a critical skill for pianists, and it gets more and more important as you start to play more complex pieces of music. Learning how to find your way around the piano keyboard as smoothly and efficiently as you can is vital! • PDF download page: https://www.billspianopages.com/begin... • Previous piano lesson in series:    • How To Play Piano for Beginners, Less...   • Next piano lesson in series:    • How To Play Piano for Beginners, Less...   • All piano lessons in series:    • How To Play Piano For Beginners   • Support me on Patreon:   / billhilton   • Follow me on Twitter:   / billhilton   • Like me on Facebook: http://fb.me/billhiltonpiano • #pianolessons #pianotutorial
