There have been trees found in rainforests in NSW that have reached a height of 30 metres. • The leaves of this species are green and glossy, with beautiful white fringed flowers (when in season) • The Blueberry Ash flowers from late Spring to early summer and produces a fruit that is a siny blue in colour, known as drupes, which appear in season from autumn to winter. • Traditional uses by our Native people include eating the fruit when ripe, using the juice of the fruit to treat boils and sea ulcers. Other uses included making string from the bark.
