It was a delightful surprise to chance upon this little Golden-bellied Gerygone diligently incubating at its nest. Taking occasional short breaks in between brooding, it chose to forage among the trees around its nest. • Golden-bellied Gerygones are listed as common residents in Singapore, but it is more often heard than seen, as it favours high canopies of trees. • At only about 10 cm in size, it is also among the smallest birds found in Singapore. • #sgbirds #sgnature #sgwildlife #sgbiodiversity #cityinagarden #AnimalBuzzSG #nparksbuzz #cityinnature
