Honda Relay Testing

In this video I show you how I test a four pin blower motor relay on a Honda Accord 2008-2012. Most Honda 4 Pin relays will be similar but I always make sure to look at a wiring diagram to determine pin layout and to see how it is energized. • Important note: some relays are controlled by a module or computer inside the vehicle, and can be damaged when checking for power/ground with a test light in the vehicle if too much current is pulled through the circuit. Although most incandescent test lights will not hurt a computer controlled circuit when used properly, the possibility does exist. If you follow a wiring diagram and the wire goes back to a computer or module (or if you are not sure), you may want to use an LED test light for your power/ground checks. • The exact vehicle in this video is a 2012 2.4L Honda Accord Special Edition Sedan. • Be sure to subscribe for more tool and car repair videos! • / bigdog50001 • Buy Big Dog50001 T-Shirts, coffee mugs and other gear here! • https://bigdog50001automotive.mysprea... • / bigdog50001 • / bigdog50001 • The Big Dog 50001 Automotive Channel Store can be found here: https://www.amazon.com/shop/bigdog500...
