With the arrival of Canon's latest Cinema EOS model, the Canon C70, Shawn is here to tell us all about what it has to offer. • Fitted with the same Super 35mm DGO (Dual Gain Output) 4K Sensor as the C300 MKIII, the C70 provides the very same low noise HDR video recording. It natively fits the RF line of Canon lenses, paving the way to faster Dual Pixel CMOS AF response timing, which can be applied across the S F modes. Additionally, it can record in 10-bit 422 across all of its resolutions in either All-I or LongGOP formats. Those resolutions range from 4K DCI as well as 4K UHD through to 2K, Full HD and 720p HD. • The C70 offers a wealth of creative options for users looking for a workhorse camera body in a relatively portable form factor, when compared to the rest of the Cinema EOS range.
