First time I heard this song I knew I had to experiment on it, 'Burning' is such a sweet gentle rhythm which really made it easy and a joy to extend. I started it off pretty similar to the original version, I just decided to let the beat rock to showcase its ode to hip-hop then slowly bring in Tems's hook to cap off her first verse. The hooks are extended to make the feeling of reflection last longer, some hooks even have an extra adlib to them. The second half has less drums usage, that adds even more nostalgia to the song with a clear message. To end the song, Tems closes it out with the hook as well as the instrumentals; 'Burning' makes the emotions of sadness, reflection, humble, gratitude appear.
