Difference between a structural / direct osteopath and cranial / indirect osteopath. • We are structural therapists who integrate cranial work when appropriate. There are so many different types of therapists out there and it's hard to know who to go to see. • Our practitioners are all structural in their approach. If you like the feeling of being worked on then you'll tend to prefer a structural approach- soft tissue massage, myofascial release, cupping, dry needling, acupuncture and functional movement rehabilitation. Cranial osteopathy is a gentler form of treatment which is still beneficial. It depends on what is best suited for your body at the time. Most people know Cranial to be used for babies, but it is beneficial for adults especially after concussion. • Some of our therapists have furthered their training in the cranial field but still have a sound structural foundation. • Learn more here: • https://metamed.co.nz/what-is-osteopa...
