In this video we cruise our NARROWBOAT floating home from Birmingham to the Black Country Living Museum, along the Old Main Line BCN, not our usual views … as you will see! And where is everyone, we don’t see any other boats, we’re all alone! After the 3 locks at Smethwick, the CANAL gets VERY DIFFERENT, if you’ve ever wondered what it’s like to be under a busy MOTORWAY, well this is it! But there are still so many reminders of days gone by, old brick built ruins, and little old canal bridges, all nestled under and around the magnificent motorway bridge, with its concrete trees either side of us! Quite spectacular to see and a very surreal experience … • but what’s your preference … the OLD … or the NEW?
