Hermle Mantel Clock Review

I recently purchased this Hermle Mantel Clock after deciding that I really wanted a skeleton clock mechanical clock. I love the wide open design of this one, allowing me to see all of the clock's moving parts (expect for the main spring which is well-contained inside a metal cylinder). This one has a nice, gentle hourly strike along with a soothing, constant ticking sound the rest of the time. The hourly strike is a bell that's not too quiet but also not too loud. The bell rings just once at the top of each hour (unlike some other clocks which would strike the bell once at 1:00, twice at 2:00, three times and 3:00, etc.).
