These switches took me by surprise with how much I was able to improve them with some tuning, and after some adjusting to the feel I came to enjoy the sound profile they provide. Let me know in the comments your experience with MX Black Hyperglides, or what your other favorite linears are! I hope to see you in the next video : ) • EDIT 5/10/22: I've since gotten more MX Blacks, and got a much better batch the second time around. This batch from Prevail was super scratchy in comparison to the batch I got from SwagKeys. I love my newer batch of MX Blacks, which I've been breaking in for a couple months now. I almost don't even want to lube them at all after just a spring swap, they're definitely top pick for me. I hope to revisit this topic with my new batch and more experience. • Keyboard: Womier/Gamakay K87 • Switches: Cherry MX Black Hyperglide linear switches, lubed with Krytox 205g0, 62g long spring swap, 0.15mm TX Film • Keycaps: POM Jelly Keycaps from Esc Keyboards • Stabilizers: Stock, lubed with Krytox 205g0 (Krytox XHT-BDZ on wire), Band aid mod on all stabs, and holee mod only on spacebar • Microphone: Shure MV7 into Focusrite 2i2 • Check out my Twitter: / tykeysyt • I have a website for reasons: https://www.tykeys.com • I have a discord for some reason, it's quiet but we'll see where this goes: • / discord • Sound depends on case, switches, lube, desk, mic, room acoustics, etc. I hope you enjoy! • #keyboard #switch #cherry #mxblack #hyperglide
