In this video, Joe teaches how to variably rasterize the easy way, right in ProRIP! No need for photoshop or any other manipulation before loading your image into the RIP. Variable rasterization is useful when you want to only rasterize a portion of your graphic, for example, when you are producing a logo, the recipient might not want you to alter it in any way with holes or stripes (that would change the color and look of the logo). Of course with some photoshop skills you do this as well either by applying the rasterization direcly or by adding areas of partial transparency, but you can't beat this fast and easy method for beginners! • Join the White Toner Revolution!
