Recently Refurbished Thunderbolt 1003 Tornado Siren Test Alert Upson County GA 472021

Recorded on Wednesday, April 4th, 2021. This is a tornado siren test of Upson County, GA Siren System. This siren is tested at first and third Wednesday of every month at 1:00 PM ET (weather permitting). Been wanting to record this siren for 3 months now. This siren is a 3 phase model (1003A). This siren started about 8 minutes late. Sorry for the siren slightly out of shot. I was a little fatigued from getting up early to record 2 sirens from April 4th. This siren was refurbished and installed by McCranie Warning Systems in Nov 2020. This siren was originally apart of the Civil Defense Museum. McCranie Warning Systems removed the solenoids itself from this siren. I was surprised they tested short, however, some severe weather (possible) was forecasted to come to Upson County the next day after this test. I am still going to keep recording much of Upson County system as I could. There is 1 more recently put up C-series Thunderbolt 1000T that hasn't been recorded yet. There are a few Upson County Thunderbolts that have not been recorded yet as well.
