Testing an antenna can be difficult as many variables play in the game. A matched antenna is only that, and it doesn't tell you anything about performance. I find that using a WSPRlite is a very interesting way to show the actual performance of an antenna, as it is a field test with many other stations giving you signal reports. • The Moonraker is a compromise antenna but as this test shows, it just works. • I am not associated in anyway with Moonraker or WsprLite. I am no expert. I just show my findings and tests. • I know that performance would have been better if I had a set up away from that metal structure.
