Thematic material is introduced by the quintet and then taken over by the band, and vice versa. Furthermore, the quintet doesn’t always play together, but rather often as a trio or just a duet. Virtuoso solo passages complete the work. Brasserie is one of the very few works of its type and is sure to find a permanent place is the symphonic wind musicrepertoire.Soloists: Grade 5
