The Mandelmap poster is a detailed and accurate map of the Mandelbrot set, in a beautiful vintage style inspired by the old maps of the Age of Exploration. It started as a functional idea - I literally just wanted a map for myself to explore the Mandelbrot set, which I was using to extract fractal patterns for my artwork. As I started realizing how much work it would be, and that it might have value to others, I spent the extra time to really create a top quality poster that is just as attractive as it is informative and useful. Since the Mandelmap poster was released with a Kickstarter campaign in 2016, I have sold thousands of copies to at least 50 countries.
