We will be describing the fascinating functions of the kidney including its own intrinsic ability to control the blood pressure through several mechanisms. We will begin our discussion on a couple of ways our kidneys are able to accomplish this through the tubuloglomerular feedback mechanism, and the myogenic mechanism. We will then be transitioning into a major mechanism known as the Renin-Angiotensin-Aldosterone-ADH-System (RAAAS).
