Unboxing the #Zenith Defy Extreme. The new El Primero 21 movement is insane, with its 1/100th of a second chronograph, running at 50Hz and 5Hz for the normal 1/10th of a second timing. It has a escapement and therefore separate power reserves. One for the running of normal time, and a separate reserve for the chronograph. This is why you see me winding the crown in both directions. • In terms of measurements, it’s a big one! 45mm in diameter, 15.4mm thick and 50.5mm lug-to-lug. But, with the case and main bracelet being made of grade 5 titanium (very light), and the integrated design, it wears very well on my 17cm wrist. It is large, but it's meant to be! • The bracelet design has a fantastic push button quick release, and it comes with the blue rubber strap (my favourite), and a black velcro strap, which is a bit too long. But I really do like the mix of polished and satin finishing on the titanium bracelet too. My only complaint is the duel screws system for the bracelet links.
