My Berber Carpet was smelling a little musty but I did not want to use a strongly scented commercial carpet deodorizer on it. I experimented with two boxes of baking soda, which I sprinkled on the carpet before going on vacation. Upon my return, I vacuumed the baking soda from the carpet.
