Here's a quick lesson showing 3 easy ways to play the F chord on guitar. Each version uses only 4 strings (instead of 6), which allows you to play an F without barring and with less finger strength. Furthermore, these positions will be great practice for eventually learning the full 6-string F chord, when you're good and ready! • This lesson includes fretboard maps and tablature, both of which show how to position each finger on each of the strings. I also play along with each method, showing you actual examples of using each version of the chord in a C-F-G chord progression. • If you want to view more of my lessons, visit songnotes.net.
