Because Nanolive images cells in 3D using label-free holotomography, we are able to color cells by their depth in the field of view. 💙 indicates where the cell is closer to the base of the well, while 🩷 indicates parts of the cell closer to the surface. • This coloring allows us to see how human mesenchymal stem cells explored and interacted with a 3D polyethylene glycol (PEG) hydrogel in this video.
