Bomet Governor Hillary Barchok has been arrested by the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC), as part of an ongoing investigation into allegations of embezzling county funds and conflict of interest where the Governor is a suspect. EACC officers raided his residence in Bomet County on Thursday morning, where the arrest took place.According to EACC the county boss in police custody is set to record a statement at EACC South Rift Regional Offices in Nakuru.
