FIREFIGHTERS RUSH TO BRADFORD MILL BLAZE

FIREFIGHTERS rush to a blaze at a commercial premises within a former #Bradford Mill this evening. • Crews from across West Yorkshire responded to the Thornton Road area of the city just after 9pm tonight. • The Bradford Tile Centre was subject to the fire in which smoke can be seen coming from within as firefighters exit with breathing apparatus equipment. • Hose Layer units were requested and attended but stood down upon arrival. • At its height, around 30 firefighters were at the scene. • Yorkshire Ambulance attended the scene with their Incident Response Teams but were also stood down upon arrival. • West Yorkshire Police are now assisting West Yorkshire Fire with their investigations. • Thornton Road remains closed in both directions at the Mercedes Garage as crews continue to deal with the incident. • 🗣️ Got a story idea, or can add to one?
