Plasma lighter burning test. • Plasma lighter/Electric Arc Lighter burning a Clothes peg/clothes pin. Sets the wood on fire quite quickly and makes an ember glow on the wood. • Plasma lighters work by shooting electricity between pylons on each side of the lighter, anything caught between the pylons and beam of electricity is set alight by the electrical current.
