RKC REX C100 PID Temperature Controller Unleashed

This is one of those cheap 400C max PID controllers from China. With the datasheet linked below you can unlock the temperature settings get use them for high temp applications. Search for 1200C K type sensor with a long sensor nose , the metal mesh gets bridle of those included stubby sensors • __________________________________________________________ • Testing my new RKC / Rex C100 PID Temperature Controller with the furnace of my dad. • I unsoldered the internal Output-Relais and bridged the Output-Relais coil connectors to the output terminals, so I can use Solid State Relais very easly. • Unlocked the Upper Limit form 400°C to 950°C for testing the furnace. Sadly I could not tear down the old bulky mechanical temperatur controller. It was petty much only an analog temperature meter and a manual setpoint pointer . If the temperature meter pointer contacts the setpoint pointer, the big relais disconnected the heater. • I am using this standart Typ K 0-400°C M4 screw temperature sensor, but after 835°C it wasn't flexible anymore and broke a bit :D • My locking settings where different from the settings in the common datasheets.
