Today we look at a blended whisky made my Ichiro Akuto, founder of Chichibu Distillery. Gathering 3 to 5 year old whiskies from Scotland, USA, Ireland and Canada alongside his own Chichibu, Akuto blends them and further matures them in his own Chichibu casks for another 1 to 3 years. He then bottles these whiskies at 46.5%abv without any chillfiltering or adding any colour. Let's see if this is a blend worth our time.
