Raiden 25th Anniversary Arrangement Project Raiden DX Level 1 Gallantry

I've been planning this for some time now, though I figured now is just about the time to get going with this sort of project. In preparation for Raiden's 25th anniversary, I've made a series of arrangements on music from the arcade video game series for the fun of it. • The intention and inspiration for this series of arrangements come in the light that Raiden IV took a hand in arranging some of the older pieces of music from previous games and figured that I could probably try doing that as well to the pieces that haven't been adapted or arranged. My intention isn't to make a superior version or to imitate the original composers' work, but rather to give a taste of my hand as I felt it would be worth a tribute to one of my favorite shoot'em ups of all time (and my very first arcade game as well, to boot). • This piece comes from Raiden DX as an updated version of Gallantry from the first game. Given that Raiden DX was based largely on what Raiden II brought to the table and even reused some of the same assets (including music). I noticed that Raiden DX brought back at least four pieces of music from the original game and naturally I felt that I could also take the Raiden music through the same treatment I gave the Raiden II arrangements. I like both, to be fair. While working on this arrangement, however, I actually didn't like the original DX arrangement of the piece very much because it had a much faster pace and a better sound, but it sounded very blank and empty to me. As a result, there are much more cues from the FM Towns version and the original arcade version of the piece that that have been incorporated in this arrangement. • Raiden is the property of Seibu Kaihatsu and MOSS and I in no way intend to take that away.
