The names Pierre Sprey, Mike Sparks, Blacktail Design, and James Burton are hallowed words within the Military-Enthusiast community. To some, they are the saviors, the rouge boys fighting the system from within, delivering common sense slaps to the stuffy old guard of over-spending and badly managed Generals in the Pentagon. • To others, they are an object of amusement, a cringe-fest best observed from a distance. People whose over-bloated egos lead them to think they are fighting the good fight when in actuality they have no idea what they are talking about. • In this short documentary, we look at the worst of them all, Colonel James G. Burton as pictures of him don't seem to exist anywhere and the ones most typically associated as being him on terrible mil-enthusiast websites is that of an Astronaut. When I put in a request for his official photograph (every US serviceman has one) this is what was given to me, so if it's not him I sincerely apologize to whoever that actually is.
