Just push on the safety and pull the blade out. I show how that works in the video, but it couldn't be simpler. • This package comes with a total of 15 blades, but you can buy additional packs from Kershaw. • The handle is glass-filled nylon with a rubber overlay and it sits comfortably and securely in the hand. This is a folding knife and you open it up with one of the two thumbstuds. It locks into place with a liner lock system, so it will never close when you don't want it to. • A bonus feature on this knife is the Buddy handle. If your hunting partner forgets to pack a knife (or packs a dull one) you can simply add one of your replacement blades onto the Buddy handle and now you have two knives ready to work. • Closed, the knife measures 4.4 inches and open it stretches out to 7.2 inches.
