Awhile back one of our engineers was working on a weekend project that involved making a few rip cuts in a 4x8 sheet of plywood .Like most of us would he went out to the garage to grab his big and pretty intimidating 15 amp circular saw to make the cuts which he thought was maybe a little overkill for half-inch plywood but hey he didn't have a better option. • That got the engineer and the rest of us thinking about a better way or a better tool for making common cuts that was a little more practical and a little less intimidating and his behemoths circular saw.
