This video demonstrates the Tekla Tedds Timber 2D analysis and design calculation to the Eurocode. The calculation checks the design of solid timber, flitch, glulam and LVL members subject to major axis bending, shear and axial tension or compression. The calculation allows for the analysis and design of multiple members which are defined in a single 2D analysis model. Each design member is checked at multiple points across all spans to ensure that the worst combination of moments, shears and axial forces are considered.
