Our allies in France have already had enough of Donald Trump’s quest for an American Empire, and they are now offering up some of their own troops to help protect Greenland from any possible Trump advances. This is a very serious matter as it shows that our own allies no longer trust the US government to act in a rational and normal manner. Ring of Fire’s Farron Cousins discusses the seriousness of this issue. • • Link – https://www.thedailybeast.com/us-ally... • Subscribe to stay connected to our stories: / theringoffire • Support us by becoming a member on YouTube: / @theringoffire • Or Support us on Patreon: / theringoffire • Buy Ring of Fire merch: https://www.buyrof.com/ • Find us on social media! • Facebook: / ringoffireradio • Twitter: / ringoffiremedia • Instagram: / ringoffirenetwork • TikTok: / ringoffiremedia • *This transcript was generated by a third-party transcription software company, so please excuse any typos. • In case you were wondering how foreign affairs are going to work under Donald Trump's leadership, as the president of the United States consider this, the country of France, their foreign minister went on a, uh, program just a couple days ago to announce that his country had offered Greenland, you know, which is a territory of Denmark French troops to help protect them in case Donald Trump decided to take Greenland by force. The French minister, uh, Jean Noelle Burrow was not kidding by the way, either. He didn't say this jokingly like, yeah. I called him up, said, Hey, you want some French troops? He was dead serious about his offer. Let me read you this. This is what Barrow said. He said that he had started discussing sending troops to Greenland, but it wasn't Denmark's wish to follow through with the idea. Barrow added that during a European and Union foreign minister's meeting on Monday, that the other ministers were, quote, ready to consider sending troops and express their very strong support for Denmark, our allies, our friends, the people that we rely on for military intelligence, military cooperation for trade, you know, basic economic things. Those same people that have been at our side for decades, some of them for centuries, are now reaching out to other countries in Europe saying, Hey, if America tries something because they've got this lunatic convicted felon as president, we've got your back. Do you want our troops? Our troops are ready? We will give you our troops to protect you from the United States. • That statement should send chills down your spine because this is the world we are living in in 2025. Our allies don't trust us. Our allies don't believe that we will honor their sovereign borders. Barot continued. If Denmark calls for help, France will be there. The European borders are sovereign, whether it's north, south, east, and west. Nobody can allow themselves to mess around with our borders. Clearly, they're not happy about this Trump policy of American expansionism, right? They don't wanna see an American empire on their side of the Atlantic, but that's what Trump is trying to do. And of course, he is trying to go further south too, with • The Panama Canal. This is utter insanity. Folks. If our friends, our allies do not trust us, then we do not have friends and allies. If they don't believe that we won't send troops to invade and take over a foreign country, then there is no hope for us. As I have said repeatedly, we as a country cannot go it alone, okay? We depend on these other people for, for so very many things, economically, militarily, all of these things, and that encompasses a large part of what our country is. And if we lose them, then we lose a hell of a lot more than a few dollars in trade. We lose our safety, we lose our security, we lose our ability to properly defend ourselves because we depend on these people for that as well. I know conservatives don't like to hear that. They like to think that USA number one, right? Well, maybe we are, maybe we're not. But the only reason we're even close to being number one is because of these alliances, these friendships, and these allies. If we lose them, we lose everything.
