Palm Springs Aerial Tramway Tour What to Expect

Today we're riding up the Palm Springs Aerial Tramway, the largest rotating aerial tramway in the world, up Mount San Jacinto. Whether you just want to ride the tram, enjoy the great views at the top or are looking to hike one of the trails, here's what you can expect. Up aerial tramways, past ocotillo and cacti, through boulders and tiny slot canyons, on gorgeous hikes up mountain peaks or through desert to palm oases or to stunning viewpoints of badlands and preserves, on treks to discover metal animal sculptures and wildly eccentric beach art or to check out dry lake beds, old abandoned mills and sites of religious tribute, and even eat some great sandwiches along the way, this road trip in and around the Palm Springs area of Southern California was pretty unforgettable.
