GERMAN SHEPHERD DOG WITH DEGENERATIVE MYELOPATHY • Early DM is confused with hip dysplasia. When I adopted Chase, I was told Chase had the known German Shepherd breed condition of hip dysplasia. In 09/2024 my life changed. A lady said Chase has DM. No exercise will cure Chase. Exercise would only allow him to breathe a bit longer. • I was shocked and I had to research DM.
