This year Britain's taekwondo players came back from the WTF World Championships in South Korea with a four medal haul - a record! But when Manchester stages British Open from October 1-2, more success won't come automatically. • • The stars of the taekwondo world, Olympians and World champions have entered among the 420 competitors; it's one of three major home tournaments before Olympic 2012 London Games. • • Many of the players will be going for gold at the 2012 Olympics.
