The Great Houdinis (later re-titled The Great Houdini) stars Paul Michael Glaser, Sally Struthers, and Ruth Gordon. It first aired as the ABC Friday Night Movie on October 8, 1976, timed to coincide with the 50th anniversary of Houdini's death. The movie has a stellar supporting cast that includes: Bill Bixby, Adrienne Barbeau, Peter Cushing, Vivian Vance, and Jack Carter. • This was the second biopic to be made of Harry Houdini's life.
