It's the nice place to watch airplanes land and take off, support vehicles running very fast to bring sipplies. • The Imperial Hill area (also known as Clutter's Park) in El Segundo is a prime location for aircraft spotting, especially for takeoffs. • • There are plane hangars on the left, servicing United and American Airliners, control tower and an iconic restaurant. • Then we drive through the tunnel. that takes us right under the runway. • First we by the departures, which are on second floor, then we check out arrivals, then we exit the airport through the little road between the parking structures. • After exiting the LAX through the Sepulveda Tunnel, we take a small ride on Los Angels' newest freeway I-105 East and exit to I-405 North. • • Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) is the primary international airport serving Los Angeles, California • In 2017, LAX handled 84,557,968 passengers, making it the world's fifth busiest airport. • • LAX serves as a hub/focus city for more passenger airlines than any other airport in the country and is the only airport that all three U.S. legacy carriers (American, Delta, and United) have designated as a hub.
