ETSY • Converter used: • https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B... • USB Extension used: • https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B... • Driver: • https://www.usb-drivers.org/cp2102-us... • This enclosure is made to change Nextion (NX4827T043) in to a sim dash display. • With V2 shape and overall appearance has got better! • But the installation is just as easy! • Thanks to the unique use of magnetic holder, you can get the display visible within the rim of the round wheels !!! • Magnetic holder allows you to switch between both positions in seconds, without any tools !!! • • Display case attaches to the holder in two positions: • 1. Gets the display just above the Fanatec QR-makes the display fully visible within the wheel rim • 2. Lifts the display above top of the Fanatec formula wheels • (Holder offers additional adjustment through slidable base attachment points.) • • Currently I have holders for Fanatec bases, but can easily make one for other wheel bases (at NO extra cost) • Display works through SimHub, which is a free PC software, and comes with few premade display layouts. • It is easy to set up, no coding needed. • • To create your dashboard you will need: • Nextion NX4827T043 4.3'' Display (£37 @Bangood) • USB extension lead (£5@Amazon Rankie USB 2.0 Extension Cable 1.8m) • USB to TTL Converter (one used on the video DSD TECH USB to TTL Serial Converter CP2102 with 4 PIN Dupont Cable Compatible) (£9 @Amazon, If it has plastic box around it its better, otherwise make sure boards are not in contact!) • TTL converter and USB port fit inside of the enclosure, with only 1 cable leaving the unit at the back. • Finished project should cost you £70-80, which is the cheapest route to dashboard display. • Included: • 3D printed screen enclosure with magnets preinstalled • 3D printed enclosure holder of choice with magnets preinstalled • All screws and bolts needed
