The Lake Region Conference was the first established regional conference in the North American Division! 🏛️📖 • On September 26, 1944, a visionary group of bold men and women gathered at Shiloh SDA Church in Chicago and voted to establish the Lake Region Conference of Seventh-day Adventists. • Their mission? To preach the everlasting gospel of Jesus Christ ✝️ within the context of the three angels’ messages 📜 (Revelation 14:6-12), reaching communities—especially African Americans—within the Lake Union Conference territory. • By January 1945, the conference began operating out of Indianapolis, Indiana.
