An easy 'no frills' tote bag with a simple magnetic fastening, I've used Decovil Light to stabilise, a foam or fleece would work well too. Canvas fabric is ideal as it's strong and durable, I've used Butterfly Flower cotton canvas and Lavender Purple canvas, with grey cotton for the lining. • Materials from http://www.debbieshoresewing.com • You will need: • 28 x 10 [71cm x 26cm] patterned fabric • 28 x 20 [71cm x 51cm] plain fabric • 28 x 16 [71cm x 41cm] lining fabric • Cut: • 2 patterned pieces each measuring 14 x 10 [36cm x 26cm] • 2 plain pieces each measuring 14 x 6 [36cm x 15cm • 2 plain pieces for the flap each measuring 6 x 8 [15cm x 20cm] • 2 plain pieces for the handles each measuring 24 x 4 [61cm x 10cm]
