Red Castle is a place that we have wanted to see for years. When we decided that we would go on a couple trips into the High Uintas this summer, Red Castle was at the top of the list. • We did a 4 day / 3 night trip. • We started at the China Meadows trailhead and took trail 110.1 to the bridge on the East Fork of Smith Fork Creek. Since it was late, we decided to camp there and then go to Red Castle the next day. We stayed on trail 110.1 and it turned into trail 110.2. We camped at Lower Red Castle Lake.
