Hi everyone, this is Meli 💙 • I want to share my heartfelt story with you, not just to shed light on my experiences but to foster understanding and compassion for everyone living with disabilities “differently abled”. ♿️ • I was born with a condition called sacral agenesis, which limits my mobility from the waist down and means I rely on medical devices and urology supplies every single day. This journey has its challenges, but it has also taught me resilience and the importance of empathy. • Unfortunately, many people with disabilities face bullying and discrimination, whether it's from peers, neighbors, or even in housing situations. Bullying is never okay. It hurts not only the individual but also creates a culture of exclusion and misunderstanding. We need to be more compassionate and supportive of one another. Everyone has their battles, and a little kindness can go a long way. • Right now, I'm facing a significant challenge with my apartment complex due to discrimination. I believe in standing up for what's right, and I’m asking for your help.
