How to take Sydney domestic airport T3 pickups Uber

This video provides instructions for driver-partners picking up riders kerbside at Sydney Domestic Airport's T3 (Qantas). • Starting 21 December 2023, this new experience ensures you're closer to your rider and can start the trip sooner. Note: pickups from T1 and T2 remain the same. • 0:00 Driver Requirements For Airport • Make sure you have a window sicker display identifying your vehicle as a passenger transport vehicle, and accept the airport’s terms and conditions (check your Uber driver app inbox for more information). • 0:38 Key Locations • Key locations you should be familiar with: the holding lot, the T3 Staging Area, and the kerbside pick-up zone. • 0:51 How To Pick Up • To start the pickup, head to the holding lot and join the virtual queue. At the holding lot, you may receive either: a trip request (in which case you'd go straight to the kerbside pickup zone), or an alert saying head to the T3 driver staging area . Accept this alert and follow the navigation in the Uber driver app to the Staging area. • Important note: If you do not have a trip request or accept the alert, you will not be able to receive a trip request at T3. • 1:38 When Directed To The Staging Area • If you are directed to the staging area, park in the available bays on the right-hand side of the lane and form a line until you get a trip request. Do not leave your vehicle unattended. • 2:20 The Pick-Up Zone • If you receive a trip request, drive straight to the left lane and straight through to the pick-up zone to meet your rider kerbside.
