Deondre Francois was the Seminole's 2016 season star quarterback, finishing the year with 3,350 yards passing and 20 touchdowns as FSU went 10-3, defeating Michigan in the Orange Bowl. In the 2017 season opener against Alabama, Francois suffered a season-ending knee injury, and shortly after graduating in late 2018, he was dismissed from the team for off-the-field accusations. With two seasons left of eligibility, Francois has spent the last six months training for an opportunity for redemption. After enrolling at Hampton University as a graduate transfer in August 2019, he became the team's the starting quarterback, and will pursue a Master's in Sports Management. • This film gives you a glimpse into the amount of dedication and grit that it takes to compete for a second chance.
