XVII:6 • 10:04 Richard Wagner/Franz Liszt, Overture to Tannhäuser, S. 442 • Born in 2001 in Taiwan, Kai-Min Chang recently won first prize in the first Ljubljana International Piano Competition in 2023. He is currently a student of Dang Thai Son at the New England Conservatory. He has taken part in many international piano competitions. He was a quarterfinalist of The 18th International Chopin Piano Competition in Warsaw in 2021. In 2018, he won second prize in the Thomas Evon Cooper International Competition in Oberlin and the jury’s special prize in the 4th Asia-Pacific International Fryderyk Chopin Piano Competition.
